Since I’m also waiting for a decision, I recommend being patient and letting the outcome reveal itself. Avoid stressing yourself by trying to anticipate or predict the result by any means—just let it come when it’s ready. Wishing you all the best, and remember that everything is apart of the process.

Everyone can now, it used to say “403 access denied” but opened up earlier today (which makes me hopeful that decisions are releasing tomorrow)

Yes, although I think they don’t send an email if you’ve accessed the portal for your decision. I’m not 100% sure on that though - it’s either Michigan or Purdue who does that.

I’m sure this has been asked and answered many times, so apologies, but I do seem to recall last year kids knowing when Michigan was coming out. Like a decision wasn’t just dropped without them having a few days of a heads up. Am I wrong about that? I know my daughter’s friends knew when they should be checking. This makes me think it’s not today. Same for Wisconsin, and I’m going to ask the same in that thread!

Last year’s kids where? Every year someone’s teacher’s friend is an admission person that told her etc etc and it’s usually wrong. Lol.
Maybe some school’s just tell their students what the website says and they go with that.
On here we stated and years before we stated the date but yet theories came out and it’s all in fun to listen to. The reality is if not today then next Friday.
i think the confusion this year is the 5 fridays in jan. there seems to be clues, similar to past years, that makes today a possibility. but i guess we’ll find out at 3.

Michigan has never said that Ross will be released at a different time than the school in general now that it is no longer a secondary admission. This press release isn’t talking about Ross generally. It’s referring to a very specific “preferred admission” program through Ross and a few other colleges at Michigan:
Preferred Admission | University of Michigan Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
I would expect regular Ross decisions at the same time as other decisions with the new process. I can’t be sure of that, of course, but this press release has nothing to do with the admissions timeline for the vast majority of Ross applicants.

I know not to stress out but my portal isn’t locked like anyone else’s is and I’m a bit on edge at the moment but it says I qualified for early action…
There were also theories last year that results would come out a week early, just like this year, and when it didn’t, everyone defaulted to the expected date of the last Friday of Jan. I think this year it’s just more convincing for more people that it’s releasing a week early because the portal shut down, which everyone can easily check and see. But they’re still theories
