University of Michigan Class of 2023 - Deferred Applicants

Congratulations…

Surfs Up…

Yes, I got into LSA! Thank you everyone!

Are all decisions released through an email?

@honeyandchai what high school if you don’t mind

I’m not comfortable with saying the exact school, but it’s very close to UMICH. It’s like 40 minutes away.

In state, coe , nothing new here.

Same Instate COE, still deferred for my daughter.

Same, in state, COE, still deferred for DS

In state LSA still deferred for my daughter

For those in staters, do you have an estimate of how many students from your high school have been accepted compared to how many students typically get accepted (from naviance or other source).

For example, our high school typically sends 28/29 students to UM each year. So far it seems only about 10 or so have actually been accepted. So I feel like there are a lot more acceptances to come.

Anyone else?

I will try to find out - I don’t believe our school uses Naviance however, I will double check to be sure

My school typically sends 20-30 and around 25 have been accepted

Hid you don’t use naviance you can Google so.ething like "where do Michigan’s high school grads attend college " and some of the articles link a search database.

My school usually has ~110 accepted and sends ~80. It seems like ~60 have been accepted so far. Also, a friend of mine from a different school just got into LSA. He had a 28 on his ACT, and applied EA LSA into Architecute. I don’t have his other stats though.

My friend got accepted this afternoon to LSA. Does that mean we can expect decisions everyday till mid-April?

Good things come to those who wait… right? Lol hopefully there is a sizable wave this week, although I have been saying that since like February

My page has not seen any activity since December  looks like I can kiss my chances of getting into ross goodbye

Where do you send the LOCI to? Do you send it to the regional counselor?

My high school is in-state and small. We usually send about 1-3 students every year, but five kids applied EA and all were deferred in December. We are all still waiting, but I think I am the only one who has U of M as their #1.

How are we supposed to know if admissions received our mid-year grades? There were quite a few snow days near the end of the semester and so I had to have my counselor send them in pretty close to the deadline. On Wolverine Access, all it shows is the transcript I sent them back in October. Any ideas of what I should, if anything?
