The portal color changed for ds this past Friday. Same as during EA.

I never looked at it before today
my S24 does all his stuff. What color was it before and what is it now?

So it has to be a “global” portal change not a “local” one. If you know many other people saying the same thing, that is a global change. If it’s just your monitor. That is a local change. But again, this site is a microcosm of the real world.

About a week or so before EA decisions, the portal background color changed from Michigan blue to a dark gray color. This wasn’t a portal astrology thing because it appeared to change for everyone.

Totally aware of that. I am on this and I started the EA thread actually. Lol

Sorry, I intended to respond to the question by @Interestedpop. I know you know all these things. You’re @Knowsstuff! :grinning:

Will this coming Friday being a holiday (Good Friday) impact UMs expected RD results date?

Wondering if they will move it to Thursday
 any historical data?

I doubt it? Is it even a holiday at UofM?

i found this article!!! but im not sure how old it is. they definetly acknoledge it https://provost.umich.edu/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Good-Friday.pdf

Check the academic calendar. It’s not a holiday:

ETA: the link you shared explicitly calls out that “Christians may request the afternoon off to attend special services.” It’s definitely not a holiday.

Its varies. Last year Good Friday was on April 7th.

okay thank you !! i didn’t know that

hey idk if this is the right thread for this but i applied ea to umich college of engineering and got deferred. i was wondering what my chances look like for rd (i dont wanna get my hopes up):

gpa: 3.8/4.0
sat: 1530 (730 ebrw, 800 math)
ecs: average to above average (not outstanding like being an ngo founder, or isef/rsi/sts awardee)
lors/essays: pretty good (i’d rate them a solid 8/10 or 9/10)

please let me know! thank you!

Good if you’re instate.

i’m out of state
sorry i forgot to mention that in my previous message
