nice, i got low hopes for engineering so yea
2nd semester housing should be relatively easy. 99% of kids who study abroad do so in that semester, so MANY options are available each year.

My son was accepted off of the waitlist last week (OOS into LSA). Weāve selected our orientation date but Iām wondering if anyone has any idea about the schedule. I know it says it ends at 4:30, does that mean he will definitely be scheduled until 4:30? Iām trying to figure out when I can book a flight home. Thanks!
I would assume pretty much right up until 430, especially when the notice also said that they recommend hanging around and exploring afterwards (which, if heās not yet otherwise been to campus, Iād recommend if you can swing a somewhat later flight).

My son was also accepted off the waitlist last week, but we havenāt received anything on orientation dates yet. Instructions seemed to suggest heād get an email to his umich.edu address with instructions, but we havenāt received anything. Any advice?

So will more rounds of waitlist get released soon? Or will those start coming out in June. I am really wanting to be a Wolverine, but at some point I have to stop relying on this outcome. But my heart lies with Michigan but if I have zero chance at getting in, I need to start loving a new place.

Donāt give up hope, but start investing in the school youāve committed to. My son has gotten off of two other waitlists, one of which was originally his second choice school, but he is committed to UM now. Your other school might surprise you!

Congrats @Mia_K ! My son was just accepted to the SMI cohort at Kinesiology and is thrilled. Itās been a long haul. He is looking to room with other SMI or Movement Science kids who want to rent an apartment on campus starting in August. Please reach out if your son is looking for a roommate/roommates!

We have been hearing from friends that there will be a waitlist wave today at around 3pm EST. D24 is out with friends the entire day so not sure what will happen. She has been very nervous this past week, counting down the days until today. Hopefully it will be out today so we can just get it over with and move on. Good luck to everyone!
