D25 Waitlisted - Kinesiology (Sports Management). Accepting WL spot but moving on for now. Could not sign up for a tour but could sign into Friend account to help those with portal astrology.

D25 waitlisted for LSA. We accepted to stay on waitlist
S25 OOS WL for LSA.
Was his top choice but we have other options (NYU, UCSB, UCI)
I feel grateful for his acceptances and feel bad for kids who didnât get what they wanted.
DS Waitlisted from LSA, OOS, submitted SAT, accepted WL option but moving on to the school that loves him back.
The Accepted Student Tour online. If you could sign up for it before the decisions coming out it was a sign that you got in. If not, it indicated you were WL or rejected.
S25 Accepted OOS Engineering.
4.0 UW 1540 SAT. Stellar ECs
Daughter in-state, rejected from Engineering RD. Sheâll be accepting Michigan State, plans to pursue Mechanical Engineering with aerospace specialty. Sheâs comfortable with this and Iâm happy for her.
Missed application deadline
Waitlisted.
Is University of Michigan a soft rejection cause why is everyone waitlisted
from their site - interesting the jump in applicants they had to pull from waitlist last couple years, likely due to shotgunning approach many top candidates are doing these last few years..
- Fall 2021: 73%, or 13,149 applicants
- Fall 2022: 72%, or 15,076 applicants
- Fall 2023: 67%, or 18,575 applicants
- Fall 2024: 76%, or 18,793 applicants
Applicants who were admitted from the waitlist:
- Fall 2021: 0.5%, or 69 applicants
- Fall 2022: 0.5%, or 77 applicants
- Fall 2023: 5%, or 983 applicants
- Fall 2024: 5%, or 973 applicants
Is it possible it could increase again with so many more applicants or no?
Question: is there currently anyone who got into CS advance selection, or is everyone listed as âpostponed?â
i.e. have most CS decisions been made yet?
It does seem like everyone is waitlisted. LOL. What percentage of applicants are rejected?
Note that I specifically mean the âCS advanced selectionâ tab of the application portal, not being waitlisted.
Yea sorry I was responding to different post
This is what I currently see there:
âYour decision for advance selection into the computer science major has been postponed. A decision will be provided by early April. This does not affect your admission to your primary University of Michigan college. While you await a decision, you may learn more about other programs of study involving computing at U-M on our Admissions website.â
Weird that it is âpostponedâ and not just a waitlist. Also weird that the âpostponedâ CS decisions are being provided in early April (and not May or late April).
I got accepted btw and I had the tour
