I have not heard about a single Ross

Agreed, I’m just reporting what I saw and the source.

Congrats! Are people getting off for Fall Start or Spring?

Any other folks off the waitlist for Engineering OOS? I saw one post about this. My daughter is on this waitlist.

Fall! At least for me.

is there any news about the stamps waitlist?

Keep in mind CC is a microcosm of the real world. I haven’t checked Reddit but usually students getting off the wait list post there. But of course don’t worry about other’s. It only counts if you get off. This is definitely early and you will hear drips and drops till they get the class they want. Good luck.

is it true that they release waitlist in waves? one college counselor on insta said this was a substantial drop and they may not do anything until the end of June now?

This makes sense. But I really don’t know. They can always do small waves till they get their numbers. It’s their rule and this is a different year.

So this is early for UM to hit the waitlist?
Historically what’s been the time frame? Seems like going all the way til the end of June is pretty late…

I saw that students were given until May 21st to accept/decline the waitlist offer so perhaps another wave will occur after that if the university still has unmet institutional needs.

Mid June. During the pandemic they went early also. Mid June is their norm.

So if you had to speculate, do you think they’re going to take more kids off the waitlist because of lower yields this year?

Last year they did one on May 20 and one small one at the end of June so that might be right if they stick to the same pattern. It could be different this year though because 1) last year fafsa was delayed pushing everything back and 2) Ross now has its own waitlist.

Don’t really know honestly. All depends who commits.
