Either way I’m staying up. I’m so anxious but excited! Is there a chance that RD applicants could hear at midnight tonight as well? Or is it primarily EA applicants who will be notified.
@America2468 well, we’re just assuming, based on the waves of past years… I would also assume that primarily EA applicants will be notified, but who knows… Maybe you might be one of the lucky few RD who hear back

To be honest, I hate this cat-and-mouse game of college admissions to the point, that UMichigan has fallen on my list of colleges. However, it’s still up there, and who knows? It might turn out to be my new home.
@Hawkace I feel the same way, it used to be in my top three but after dealing not only with rude admissions people but also students and this ridiculous vagueness about admissions decisions, my opinion of the school has decreased… dramatically…
but still, it has the big name that I want and the research opportunities…
i feel like decisions may come out friday, only because a girl near me got into stamps this week after being deferred
If they don’t release some decisions tomorrow, then it’d be just plain cruelty especially since they said it might come out tomorrow. How do admissions officers not know if decisions are released the day before?
i feel like there must be a point in them posting that. if they knew for sure that no decisions would be released tomorrow, then i don’t think they would purposefully lead people on. but then again, this is umich admissions we are talking about…

I feel like they wouldn’t have answered that question if they weren’t going to release some decisions. My hopes definitely aren’t up though, even if they do release some im not expecting to hear until later. I’ve gotten less confident in my application
This may be a stupid question but what does WA mean? I hope everyone receives good news. We are also waiting for my daughter who is deferred. Her brother is a Junior at Michigan, and her Dad played football at MI for the great BO. I just feel like it’s in the good lords hands, you’ll go to school where he wants you to be. Keep The Faith!
