I’m predicting the next wave of decisions will come out on March 6th!
With so many applications this year, I’m really surprised I haven’t heard of a single rejection yet. What is the point of stringing every single applicant along until March/April?

Umich Twitter chat Feb 25th for accepted students, released wave Feb 7th, Umich Twitter chat Mar 25th for accepted students, release wave Mar. 6th?? They did tweet in a question asked today about the next wave saying that the next wave will be released “soonish” @JoeGoe
@BSM1987 UT did the exact same thing. it’s kind of cruel imo. rejected students didn’t start hearing until ~a week before the final release date.

Does anyone know based on historical information if acceptances also come out at the very end or is that reserved just for denials and wait-lists?
anyone else see the umich admissions Twitter reply when someone asked about when the next wave will becoming out? They replied with a picture of a sloth that said “soon-ish.” I laughed but only to keep from crying. They literally replied to us with a picture of a sloth…HAHAHAHAH fml.

The tumblr page says “there is always hope” for decisions tomorrow. But I’m still not getting my hopes up, at this point I don’t even mind waiting till April

U of M’s whole admissions process is a joke at this point, It makes no sense… There was a kid from my school who got accepted into MIT and deferred from Umich!!! how does that make any sense!!!
