University of Michigan Early Action Class of 2019 Discussion

Admissions Tumblr page says no large batches this week.

@cike2019‌ true but they have not given out all true information. We never know what would happen.

@cike2019‌ If that’s the case, then we would hear back with the Regular Decisions applicants in April… Not very fair and professional if you ask me.

We’re all tired of waiting but very late Match or early April appears to be their timing. I guess they (U of M) hold the cards.

I’m not sure why, but I still have a feeling that decisions will be released today at midnight… Just my thought.

Even though umich has been uptight about releasing information they have never told a lie in regards of admissions. I would be very surprised if a batch was released tomorrow

Has anyone who applied to Ross hear back yet? Most of my friends who were accepted so far applied as Engineering or other majors.

We don’t have to have a large batch released tomorrow, just enough to include all of us CC people who have been waiting so patiently.

The UM admission tumblr states that if you applied on or before January 14th @ 11:59pm, you WILL receive a decision BY March 19 @ midnight

ahhhh! the time has finally come!!!

edit: wait, they’re referring to honors admissions and it doesn’t really say anything about deferrals…

Isn’t that for HONORS?

Omg you’re right…ugh I hate myself :frowning:

Hopefully some tomorrow-friday the 13th is a lucky day for our family!

don’t be hard on yourself @jjh2003‌ lol we’ve had several false alarms in this thread

My daughter was accepted on 2/26 after she was initially deferred back in December and is still waiting for her Ross decision. She received an email about a week ago from Ross saying she would hear by the end of April and to please not send any supplemental information.

As it relates to deferrals hearing back with RD applicants…isn’t that what most schools do anyway? The fact that some people heard back makes things a bit confusing, but honestly, the university never said if you were deferred you would hear earlier than RD applicants, did they? I really don’t think they have done anything wrong or misleading. I know it’s hard waiting and my gut feeling is you will still hear back sooner than most RD applicants.

this waiting game is honestly so painful. it’s been 6 months for me since applying. people at my school with lower stats were admitted weeks ago and its just me and my good friend left. u of m honestly does not make me feel good. msu has already invited me into an honors program, has been in constant contact, and basically admitted me into their school within a week. all of this while u of m STILL hasn’t told me any kind of decision other than deferred. irritated is an understatement.

I’m so glad nobody from my high school applied here EA. That would kill me if they got in before I did.

Accepted to Ross BBA!!!

@berkvard, can I ask if you are in state or out of state?

@wrights1994 out of state, from ohio
