Okay this might be a stretch, but here goes. I’ve noticed on Wolverine Access on the Application Status page, the two links that say View Application Data and View Credentials have moved over to the right. Is there any chance that the third link that says something like View Decision link should be in the space that is on the right? Can anyone who had been accepted confirm that the view decision link appears on the right side on the bottom of the application status page? I may be grasping at straws, but it’s killing me not to know.
@IWantUM yes the view decision is on the right so maybe it’s coming for you!
@Riebiley my daughter is still waiting on Ross also. She was accepted 2/26 and a girl in her school that got in EA heard that she got into Ross a few weeks ago, but I’m assuming they just got to her first because she got in EA. My daughter actually has a stronger App but I don’t like the fact that we still don’t know. The people that heard at your school, did they get in or were some rejects? I thought I heard they were sending both kind of decisions. Also, was it email or on WA? Thanks!
@collegemomjam I was an EA admit (12/19) as were all of the other kids that applied and heard already. It’s strange, we all heard back on the same day, all accepted to LSA. Those same few kids all got denied to ross… An email was sent to all of them stating that there is an update on WA, so that’s where they found out! Hope this is helpful.
Interesting they were all denied! Good luck to you!
Hmm, it’s been that way for a few days. I wonder if the link just hasn’t been posted? Still no email as well…
Thank you @collegemomjam ! Good luck to you as well.
@billcsho The NPC showed that I would get about about ~$45,000 (with federal grants as well). It would leave with $8,500 left which would be the equivalent to a work study and the $5,500 federal loan.
This isn’t meant to sound like I’m snapping back at you, but why haven’t they just rejected me already. UMich is a “rather high reach” for me. Also, did you know this because of my post in the Chance Me Thread?
meant to say “already if UMich is a”
I did read your other thread.
I received the same package your NPC predicted for you @uofmplease . I was accepted on 2/27, was originally deferred. Don’t think income plays a role in the situation.
@billcsho I believe that the time spent on my application should compensate for my low ACT score. I really think that’s all my profile is lacking- a strong ACT score. I have faith in my essays and everything else in my application, so I am still going to be hopeful about my application!
@carlsandburgsr Yeah, I feel like with the strong overload of applications they simply haven’t got to my app yet. You’re brain just tries to fill in the missing pieces to find conclusions, you know? LOL. But, are you OOS? And have you received your FA package yet? And if so, does it look like what the NPC projected?
accepted to middle bury and michigan the letter M has worked for me
I have contacted my regional counselor for a long time since last January, sending and receiving letters. I have visited UM last month. Moreover, I even sent hardcopy version of my letter of interest like three weeks ago. and the letter that I got last month was like this:
Hello xxxxxxxxx,
I have received all of your letters of interest and they have all been added to your application file. There is nothing further we need as we are busy finalizing applications. We understand your continued interest in Michigan. Final decisions will be released in early April.
Kristen
I am about to give up. The ones with lower stats all got in except me. haha
So is April 3 the day?
@nat97xo I am not sure but I think that’s when my decision will be out. Hope her notion of “we understand your interest” do make some differences.
I mean, I try to stay positive, thinking that people do get accepted even until April. Moreover, compare to last year, this year’s method of accepting students has been changed. Last year, I remember that there were several batches. One in January, One in Feb, and the other two in March. We only had two so far and I doubt they pick up like 7000 students. Although they said they would use waitlist efficiently compare to last year, I think they would pick more than 10000 students this year, since not many students are committed to U of M since many of them will be accepted to Ivys and some other excellent schools. I think I still have a good shot, but no one knows.
@nat97xo @JK0919 What makes you both think that decisions will be released on April 3?
April 3 is a Friday…
@America2468 That’s what she said. But there might be individual release as well as other days available.
I would attend either UCSD or UW Seattle if I do not get in Michigan…
