<p>@infinitygirl23 I’m pretty sure we’ll all receive an e-mail before the admissions decision is updated on Wolverine Access. So you’ll know what your decision is before the formal letter is on WA.</p>
<p>I’m an in state applicant and my school last year sent 100 out of the 185 people who applied to uofm. People tell me that decisions don’t come out at the same time for everyone - anyone could get their decision at any time

<p>Also, this is a rumor but it freaks me out: since uofm gets so many applicants, they might not get to everyone. So the people they don’t get to are deferred. And rumor has it they go in alphabetical order </p>
<p>Honestly, because that is what happened last year due to the increase in applicants, they should have accounted for it this year, so I don’t see that happening. Well…I hope not :/</p>
<p>Last year some people got their email after being able to see their results on WA. When your decision is available in WA, there will be a third link in the Admission section called “View Decision”.</p>

<p>They aren’t going to confirm whether it’s today or not, you can only just hope you get an email today. I advise all of you to just do something relaxing after school and periodically check your emails. I didn’t get mine till about 7 pm the year I applied and a buddy of mine didn’t get his till around 11 pm, so it’s going to vary.</p>
<p>Last year they did not announce that results would be out on Friday but they started being released in late morning and continued throughout the day and into the weekend. </p>
<p>Per official UM Admissions Twitter: “We send admissions decisions to the email address provided on your application.”</p>

<p>My D did not receive the e-mail until 7pm last year while others received it a couple hours before her.</p>
