<p>Also pretty sure most schools read applications by high school because transcripts are the same and what not. So it shouldn’t be alphabetical</p>

<p>When the results started coming out last year, there were people posting here that a classmate had just gotten accepted or that they saw something on Twitter. So you don’t really need to be checking emails constantly until you know that the first round of results are out. People will definitely post here when there’s any news at all.</p>
<p>In some years, the emails have been spread out over several days with no clear pattern of geography, admission result, etc. So there is no ability (and, therefore, no reason) to speculate on the admissions decision based upon when it may arrive (for you or anyone else).</p>

<p>Ok so whenever I have a dream about something happening in the near future, it happens. And a couple of days ago I had a dream that I got deferred from Michigan and I was like crap well there’s my fate. BUT, last night I had a dream that I got my acceptance letter so ugh IDK!! I really hope my second dream is true haha, anyway this is kinda irrelevant so carry on!</p>

<p>I have a parent who works for the university and they said that emails will be sent out in waves from today until the 24th. They have the largest EA pool in the country as well as the largest EA pool they’ve ever had. If they don’t get to your application you’ll get a defferal. They are deffering more people than previous years because they’ve had oversubscription the past 2 years. Last year they were understaffed and this year they were not. There are also no dorm renovations this year like there were in past years. Hope this helps!</p>

<p>@scalia13 When you go to Admission Application Status, there should be two links: “View Application Data” and “View Credentials”. When UMich has made a decision, there’ll be a third link called “View decision” :)</p>
