I haven’t seen any rejections. Have there been any posted?

How strong do you all think the RD pool will be? I mean with most people applying EA and of those deferred some will withdraw to go somewhere else it can’t be too bad. Then again ED rejects might come calling to UMich.

@alsa2000 i agree with your last part, because the deadline for UMich is february 1st. So people still have a lot of time to start an application for RD.

I got accepted and got the official welcome packet yesterday

@tedonan. What in the packet?

Comment: just another data point for those confused deferred applicants… got accepted (and will attend) Duke (first choice). Good Luck!

Yes got my packet in the mail today!

@maya54 In the packet comes: A congrats acceptance letter, checklist to become a Wolverine, a folder which contains an invitation to attend Campus Day Spring 2015, how to pay for college, Michigan Learning Communities info, and a pretty cool certificate for getting into LSA with your name on it.

Does anyone know for sure if you are deferred from CoE, can you re-apply to LSA for RD?

@nosyla I am almost certain that it is possible, but you should definitely confirm with admissions.

@Mancat24 I got into COE and I recieved the same stuff (even the MLC brochure), but all of my certificates and letters said College of Engineering instead of LSA.

@nicholaskeller i also got into CoE, but I’m an international student. Any idea when i’ll receive my packet ??

@TXParent2019 congratulations! Please be sure to withdraw your app from UMich so as to not gunk up the RD pool.

@maya54 I got accepted into Nursing without any hospital/clinic experience whatsoever, so I don’t think it’s entirely based on medical experience.

Anyone know the acceptance rate for the college of engineering last year (class of 2018)?

@Jimboboy Supposedly 20% but it hasn’t been documented. It was around 30% the year before.

Sorry for posting this so late.

Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected:
Applied: Accepted to NYU Stern Scholarship Program (non-binding), University of Michigan, Northeastern, and Fordham. Deferred from Columbia and University of Chicago
General Comments/Advice/Hindsight: I think UMichigan is a fairly straightforward school. I feel like they really weight stats heavily and that’s why I got in.

@Musktard you already heard back from Ross? Did they email you or how did you hear from them? I was accepted LSA, but haven’t heard from Ross yet

is wolverine access not open to anybody else?? i was excepted but now am nervous that this will be a johns hopkins type like mistake… :(

its not open to me too @ariboy32 …
It wasn’t open to me for a few days and then it became fine 2 days ago and i saw my decision letter
So don’t worry, I’m sure they didn’t make any mistakes
