University of Minnesota Early Action Class of 2030 Official Thread

My kid applied Sep 22 through CommonApp, acceptance letter came Sep 29 (Carlson)

In state, 3.96 UW. Wondering if we’ll see merit based scholarship anytime soon. We likely won’t get anything for need based, but hoping for some merit based to take the edge off. Two kids in college at the same time is going to be rough

In my kid’s myu portal there’s a section for “My Finances” and a “Financial Aid” tab, but there 2026-2027 school year isn’t even listed yet, so maybe it’s way too early. Anyone else here have other kids at the UofM that have gone through this?
