My daughter applied on 8/1 via Common App with similar stats, also to CBS and OOS. No admissions decision yet. 
DS got admitted yesterday 11/11.
OOS, applied via Golden Gopher in early October.
College of Science and Engineering.

OOS. Probably they have a different name for In-state scholarship.
We are OOS too and hoping for a merit scholarship in liberal arts. We received acceptance Sept 30 so fingers crossed.

It might be b/c CBS is a more competitive college to get into. But based on your kidsâ stats they are within the 50th percentile so your odds are probably good! Positive thoughts for you guys!

Applied 10/28 admitted 1/11. 3.93 unweighted. Did not take standardized tests - may affect merit, but definitely less stress. 4-yr varsity swimmer - State Team, Team Captain, President Volunteer Service award. Volunteers at local hospital and also worked throughout high school. NHS, National Arts honor society, National Language Arts Honor Society, National Science Honor Society. Studying Biology (Pre-Health). Great Essay and (2) good optional recommendations.

DD applies 9/28. OOS UW 3.85, IB diploma, test optional. Carlson School of Management.
Got admitted on 10/28.

My son applied to UMNTC/Carlson via Common App on 10/13 and we still havenât heard anything. 3.7 UW, 4.1 W, 30 ACT, competitive schedule with max # of APâs allowed by HS, 4 year varsity athlete, started his own business 5 years ago, strong letters of rec, leadership roles on campus. Should we be worried?

Just thought Iâd mention that when my daughter received updates (acceptance on 10/14 and Honors acceptance on 10/21), the emails came at exactly 5:20pm EST. Thought maybe this info would save a few people from checking all day! Good luck to everyone!
