Decision in portal. Daughter is in, with trustees scholarship. No mention of honors, anyone know if that comes later?

Congrats! We are in too!!! Dean scholarship here. We are OOS so need to look at the numbers and compare to other offers but excited for the acceptance! Such a great school and area!

Daughter just received acceptance. OOS, Dean’s Scholarship. My wife and I are alums so of course we are biased, but UNH rocks. My daughter wants to go elsewhere however…wants big time sports coupled with similar size school as UNH so her first choices are TCU, SMU, Arkansas, and LSU. Sadly we believe the legacy ends with us

I think she has a very good shot at it. This will be the inaugural class for the Hamel Honors College. The Honors Program has always been excellent at UNH, but with the new donor and creation of the specific physical space there will be a huge focus on it in the coming years.

The space looks gorgeous! Would there be a follow up invite to honors? It’s tough to keep all these schools processes straight, esp since so many have come in this week. My head hurts!

About the University Honors Program (Honors Program Admission | University Honors Program): “Students are considered for participation in the University Honors Program when they are reviewed for admission to UNH. Successful candidates will be invited to join the Program at the time they are admitted to the university. No separate application is required.”
I gather we would be notified with our acceptance to UNH, though a possibility the school might wait until the January EA announcements when the Hamel Scholars (NH residents) are identified.
