last year it was 1/19… so maybe friday? such a long wait!
Thank you. His GPA fits into one of the scholarships listed on the website. I guess not everyone gets it. I know his high school automatically sends mid-year transcripts in February. Maybe after that. Thanks again.
My son just got his email! OOS, accepted to Engineering program. We’re all so excited!
2nd wave of notifications is here. Son, accepted. 3.45 UW, 1270 SAT. Good luck to all!
My daughter got in with the first wave- but my friends daughter still waiting… I hope this is going to be all of them!!
still waiting OOS
My daughter got her acceptance about an hour ago. OOS My husband and I are both alums and this is the last school we were waiting to hear from. Sooo excited!!
Daughter received her acceptance! OOS. Trustee’s scholarship, but no word on honors. She’s excited!
my son was just accepted! presidential scholarship. OOS.
Also accepted! OOS with $9k merit. Congrats to those who also heard today!
Consider also that the way UNH calculates GPA might be different. They only count “core” classes and they add weight for rigor, but they don’t outright disclose their methodology, so your GPA might be lower than what you think it is. That could be the reason.
Is anyone still waiting EA OOS?
yes…still waiting OOS…hopefully tomorrow :0)
yes still waiting OOS EA - the wait is awful!
DD was deferred to Regular Decision. Looking to study animal science. It’s tough because this is not a major that is found at lots of schools, typically just a state flagship. Still waiting to hear from the last 2 schools, which are notoriously tough, so we are not hopeful. So far she’s been deferred by her #1 and #2 choice.
I’m sorry to hear that. It’s so stressful and can be very demoralizing. It is, however, extremely common, especially recently. I hope she knows how much tougher the college landscape has gotten over the past few years. Colleges are receiving more applications than ever.
Does she have any acceptances at schools she’d be happy to go to?
Did the deferrals list if she can sent a LOCI?
has anyone gotten into the honors program and what are the stats for acceptance? We’re trying to decide about making a visit to tour the school, but he’s not really interested in UNH without honors. It’s very unclear what the criteria for the honors program is.
Wondering the same here
Unfortunately animal science is a tough admit at UNH. Don’t give up though, you have a great shot at RD.
We are in the same boat- UNH is really only a top choice for my daughter is she were in Honors. Hoping they let these kids know either way soon.
