Early Action decisions just released. Daughter admitted with merit.
Yes, my son just got his EA decision about an hour ago. Admitted to bioengineering program w/ trustees scholarship (out of state). Congrats to all and good luck!
Congrats! Any guidance on how UNH rolls the decisions out? Are certain programs notifying first? S25 applied EA but did not hear anything today. Not sure if we keep refreshing or look for a specific day / time of week etc. Thanks for any experienced guidance!
D25 is in for nursing! OOS WITH $14k/year Trustee Scholarship.
The way they did it 2 years back was initial notifications in late December and then another round mid January.
Out of state daughter in with $14,000 merit!
Thanks! Is it 1 round of notifications each time or could see something any day (pre-holiday break) over the course of a few days? Won’t hold you to it - just new to this process so want to manage expectations!
3.8 unweighted, 4.7 weighted, 1360 SAT submitted, hundreds of volunteer hours, NHS, varsity sport, wildlife conservation.
My son was 4.4 weighted GPA, 1480 SAT submitted, NHS, varsity sport, volunteer hours, 4s and 5s on AP tests (4 so far), National Ski Patrol volunteer, school mountain biking club founder.
Twins both got in. One Biochemistry and the other?. Both 14k trustees, but no honors. Could that come later?
S25 accepted for Computer Science +Cybersecurity with Presidential Scholarship. We are OOS
From what I remember, one day of notifications in late December (today) and another in mid January. Not sure if things changed last year. Good Luck!
Congrats! Mind sharing her stats?
Son admitted OOS for poli sci with teeny, tiny bit of merit. Probably not affordable for us unless some financial aid comes through. 3.7W, test optional.
Does UNH look at UW or W GPA? I’m a little surprised by the small amount of merit S25 received, but this W is definitely stronger than his UW.
If you look on their website, all of their merit-based scholarships are listed under weighted GPAs (i.e. Trustees are for 4.01 and above weighted GPA, Chancellor’s are for 3.90-4.0 weighted) etc. So my presumption is they look more at weighted. My son got Trustee’s and he has a 4.4 weighted.
Thank you!
