Anyone hear back from U of O yet?
If so, how long did it take?
Hear back about portal or about decision? My daughter and others had issues initially in re receiving info about the portal (which can be found in the main thread). The specific email with portal information was not going through to gmail accounts.
If you are talking about admissions…my daughter has heard a decision.
Son applied on Common App, Oregon downloaded app on 8/20, received acceptance 10/18. Nothing in the US Mail yet, just notification in the portal so far.

My son received his acceptance today too! Does anybody know where to access merit scholarship and honors college confirmations? We can’t see anything on the portal. Thanks!
My daughter received her acceptance last week. We’ve not seen anything more yet about either honors or scholarships. On the right hand side of the portal page, there is a list of things and it does say “Honors: Applied”
Our S25 submitted an application about 10 days ago, preferencing Lundquist, and got an acceptance update last night, so they’re pretty quick! If I recall from looking at UO threads from years past, everyone’s automatically considered for merit scholarships so nothing to do there. Don’t recall whether Honors College automatically considers all admitted students, but from a glance it looks like you’ve got to submit a separate essay and click some boxes with your initial application. Oregon’s fairly far down on his list at the moment, but something like the Honors program experience could change that calculus, although he’s probably not quite at the level to have high expectations of getting in. Unless he wrote another essay I’m not aware of, looks like he missed the boat on that, however. Oh, well.
Congrats! did your son get direct admitted to the business major or did it say pre-major?
Heard back on 10/18. Initially the application status portal showed a button to the ‘admitted student portal’, but clicking on it led to an error message and any mention of the portal has disappeared. Has anyone had the same?
The student portal says error. Probably too early.

Is there any chance you could send through a snapshot of what the portal looks like now that your son is accepted? De-identified, of course!
Our son was accepted a few days ago but we are curious about any possibly of merit aid. Does anyone know when that information would arrive? Thanks!

My daughter received an email today with scholarship/merit award. Check your portals and email if you are also waiting on this information.

We are in state my daughter heard back about 1.5 weeks after submitting for journalism school. She reached out to her admission counselor and he verified she was auto merit for a scholarship so if you have merit questions just contact your admission counselor!

Curious - has anyone that has applied to Architecture or Interior Architecture received a decision yet? We know to expect two decisions; one from the school and a second decision from the department/major. OOS DD applied on 8/31, complete with all of the supplemental essays and portfolio, and has not received the first decision yet (from just the school, we know that we won’t hear from the department until later in December). We know kids that applied for other majors two months after her (11/1) have already received decisions. Some have suggested that it’s possible these majors release those first decisions later? Does anyone know? She did contact her admissions counselor a couple of weeks ago to ensure everything with her application was in order, and they confirmed that is was! Just wondering what’s taking so long and if this is normal for these more selective majors.
My daughter applied to Architecture and has received the first acceptance from the school as well as merit scholarship.
