@SincererLove We are in state. As I understand PITT does not use Naviance. He is looking to major in physics so Dietrich would be the school. He has all AP/Advanced Classes. I’d be VERY concerned had he been trying to get into Swanson. I monitored last years thread. We feel pretty good. Your son’s stats are great. He will get in, no doubt. Let’s hope we hear something this week.
@Arm2227 , our HS uses Naviance, and we can tell from Scattergram in Naviance that he is above average for his HS applicants. We are actually 40 minutes away from Pitt, in the suburbs.
I am good if we hear before December. I am afraid of senioritis.
@4boyzsmom Hey! I remember you from over a year ago, when our boys did not get into a university that shall remain nameless, lol. How is your DS18 liking Pitt? Mine loves it. I though for sure he was going to try and transfer but he is very happy! My DS20 just submitted his app today!

@Andromeda10 Wow! great memory you have! My Sophomore at Pitt LOVES it there. He’s doing double major Math/CS Honors program. Found his tribe and will not consider transfer. He’s brother applied to Pitt (Engineering) and we can’t wait to hear from admissions. Good luck to your kid as well! 
@4boyzsmom Thanks. Mine is double major Math/Physics, minor French Honors. They probably have classes together! Younger one wants to do Political Science and Law Guarantee.

I applied 8/10 (Sunday) and my portal still says “no pending applications” should I expect a change? And what happens if I’m rejected? Do I see it on the portal or do I just wait for a letter

It will change once your are accepted. However, the app is not “official”. You should wait for the email or your package in the mail. I would not be to concerned yet.

@STEM2017 Hi there!! Yes…sadly still waiting for PSU. Hopefully, they worked out the glitches from last year.
@SAD1010 Oh man I hope so. Last year was a disaster for some kids. But in the end, they enrolled the right amount of students. Thats the most important thing.
