@Ash167 not exactly, our admissions committee probably felt Bradford was a good fit for you. We do have students who transfer to the Pittsburgh campus later on in their academic careers. Just make sure you work with your Bradford advisor to get the process going, I’m sure you’ll like the campus though!
@lsamp20 Based on what people says, I think it is unofficial indicator for the admission. My S got his buttons on this Monday and is still waiting for email or snail mail, let see what comes.
@hailtopitt1787 - can you please tell us if all Chancellor’s invites have gone out yet? The web site says you are only notified if you get an invite. So far we have only seen one invite on this forum but I suppose it could be that nobody else on this forum received one. Thank you.
@mychicas yes, they went out last week.
Guess that means only one person on these forums got an invite…
@hailtopitt1787 you said on a different thread 2/6 “spoke to Honors College today and they go out next week@ for the Chancellor’s Scholarship. What you say above is conflicting? Can you clarify?
@spboehmer I actually responded to your thread on 2/4/2020 and said “those invites are coming from Pitt Honors directly but we anticipate they will be going out sometime this week if they haven’t gone out already.” so it was not conflicting, they did go out last week.
Does anyone know if anyone has been notified in regards to the diversity scholarships?
My S got the personalized video yesterday. It was so cool. We are so happy and plan to visit Pittsburgh soon. Excited to see the cathedral of learning building.
@YS1111 Congratulations!! Yes definitely visit the international rooms in the Cathedral of Learning. As long as they don’t currently have a class in them you can check them out and they are really cool!
@Susanb33 Thanks for your experience. We will definitely visit and see. We will drive so do you know how convenient the parking in campus? Can visitor park in the campus?
Yes we’ve only been there once but there is a parking garage near the Cathedral of learning and the admissions office. It was easy.
Appreciate for the info. Thanks
I know this board is active anyway, but if someone receives a merit offer between now and 3/1 it would be great to hear about. I’m kind of giving of hope, even though the deadline is 3/1 per earlier posts from @hailtopitt1787

Are the figures listed here correct? I have a 4.0 UW and 1490 (1510 superscore) and received the lowest tier scholarship (Cathedral Achievement Scholarship for $5k/yr) as an in-state student.
@jonhax123 that’s rough man. these days colleges are looking at all kinds of things it’s hard to know what they really want. They may give you more money down the road and if not there’ll always be another college that recognizes the hard work you put in
It’s a diversity scholarship, and the website says they’re awarded solely based on academic performance.
I reached out to the admissions office, and their response was:
“The typical profile of a student to receive the lowest end of our scholarship holds a 1480 SAT or higher (33 ACT composite score or higher) and ranks within the top 5% of their high school graduating class.”
It either seems that they haven’t updated their information or that they are deliberately beating around the bush.
@YS1111 - Congrats on your son’s acceptance. Please let us know which college/major he was admitted to and what his stats were
@phillyboysmom It is on #1063.
