GAP program is highly selective and that is not a denial. They only 20 students for that and it’s a special and is invitational only.

Just confirming, if I haven’t revived an admission decision but in the Accept/Deny admission tab the accept and deny buttons show up, that means I was accepted, correct?

Yes - probably tomorrow you can check your document center and see the acceptance letter. the email might not come for several days.

Just submitted application yesterday. 3.9 weighted gpa. Test optional. Business major. Lots of ECs. How long till we will learn an admissions decision?
At this point in the cycle, I would expect the advertised 6-8 weeks.

same here. just reads application complete now when it was pending earlier. I also have the accept/decline buttons.

Pitt Honors College: My daughter applied back in August to Pitt and was accepted to the University. She applied to the Honors College around the same time and is worried that her personal statement was done as an attachment since she’s had some issues attaching documents to applications.
So, we can’t see it anymore on her portal - does anyone remember if the Honors College just gave a space for the applicants to type or cut/paste their essay (or did they have to upload it)?

My daughter said it was type in or cut/paste. I saw her screen and there was a box to type in.

DS just accepted (had checked earlier today and was “pending”, now status says “application complete” and there are accept/decline buttons).

Hey Pitt parents and students…Cheer on the Pitt Women’s Volleyball team in the Final 4 in Tampa this week! They are ON FIRE!!! What an amazing program.
Next year, don’t miss taking in a game at the Pete or the Fitzgerald Field House.

Did not receive an email to tell us about decision, just happened to check portal. It was actually kind of confusing… we had to click around to get the acceptance letter. Received acceptance packet in mail a few weeks later, a couple stickers, etc. nothing “great”.

My son received buttons yesterday, waiting on the letter in portal. Is there a way to know just from looking at the admissions status tab if he was accepted to the main campus or instead a regional one that he didn’t apply to (he only applied to the main campus) as I hear some students are accepted to the regional campuses even if they didn’t apply there. Since didn’t get letter yet nor really sure if this might be the case?
