My S24 is wait listed at Pitt. He applied for business. He took a tour of the school last week and was impressed. He was on the wait list for Indiana U in Bloomington as well, but was accepted on 3/30. Any word on the Pitt releases?

When is the deadline to commit/housing? Decision letter says commit by 6/1, housing by 5/1. But then admissions page says 5/15 with housing either 5/1 or 2 weeks after putting down enrollment deposit. I’ve also read from fb groups that housing deadline is 6/1. Wt??
Also, it says you need to have received an invitation e-mail to be eligible for reimbursement. What e-mail would that be?

I’ve just recently committed to pitt - April 4th i believe. What I’ve gathered is you need to commit by 5/15, and housing stuff should come out around then to register. I think the last day you can register for housing would be 6/1. Once you commit, you get a pitt email and they sent me a pre-orientation/housing type form, and that says a few weeks into may more will come out. That’s what I’m assuming, may be wrong tho

Does anyone else have information about the housing deadline? I know they moving “decision day” to May 15, but the website says May 1 is the deadline for guaranteed housing. My kid was about to commit to Pitt but then I saw that he may have missed the window for guaranteed housing. I’m hoping the housing website was not updated when colleges moved decision day to May 15 this year.
If you don’t mind me asking, what range are her stats?

On Panther Link for parents of admitted students this question was asked recently. The answer from Molly Swagler, Assistant Vice Provost was “Yes, you got it…enrollment deposit by May 15, and housing deposit before June 1”
