We received an email letting us know there was an update to her application and to click on the portal and then we had an acceptance letter. Her major is psychology.

3.8 weighted. Did not submit SAT. Consistent extracurricular, varsity athlete and job during the year and summer

Email came around 7:30pm

thats reassuring (although still on edge of seat) my kid has similar credentials not that that means anything but just happy to hear that it’s
not all kids with 4.0++ getting accepted. Congrats.

Thanks! I was a bit nervous since they don’t accept recommendation letters and don’t do interviews

From the last two times decisions were out, looks like the emails go out between 7-7:30 PM.

Contrats! Good to know that the email will come before the portal status change.. Instead of clicking every hour, it’s much easier to wait till an email comes. Keep my sanity. Thank you for heads up.

Accepted to Dietrich! I’m applied undecided. I applied on August 1st, and my application was completed by August 14th. My GPA was 3.5 (weighted), and I applied test-optional. I didn’t have many extracurriculars, just an internship and a job. It’s possible to get in with average stats! I believe my essay was good and helped me. I’m so happy right now!!!

Any Sept submitted date got acceptance’s. My son all doc received is 9/10. We are waiting eagerly

Thats when my daughter submitted hers. No decision yet either. Seems their going in order of completed date and maybe even major and/or school

Daughter applied using the Common App August 1st for nursing. 3.96 unweighted and 4.34 weighted. 1280 SAT. All APs and Honors classes. VP of class, 2 sports, volunteering. Did anyone hear from the School of Nursing?
