We did not.
Nope! No need to worry. Itâs still early in the process and applications are being reviewed at different rates depending upon where you are located. Itâs no indication of your qualifications.
Got in tonight for Pre-Dentistry at Dietriech! H2P!
Iâm sure they will be many options. The Oct & Dec dates were in my childâs acceptance info.
Any Swanson acceptances?
Yae my son got in Computer Science. Got today email. So relieved and happy.
Applied 9/3. Submitted all docs by 9/10.
High stats kid.
1550 SAT
9 APs - all 5s
Very strong artist
I agree, it means nothing, particularly since they really just got going, and historically it has been common for some people to get their decisions at least a few weeks quicker than others.
I know it is hard not to speculate, but generally speaking the only bad news is actually getting an adverse decision. No decision yet is simply no decision yet.
Hi,
I was accepted today into the School of Computing and Information. When I go to the peoplesoft portal, and then to the accept/decline buttons, it says, â* The school you applied to does not allow students to self-accept/decline admissions. Please contact the admissions office of the school you applied to for more information.â Do i actually need to contact the admissions office or is there something else i need to do?
Thanks
Congrats! That message appeared on the page with my studentâs accept/decline buttons as well (for Swanson Engineering) but the message cleared after a few days. The accept/decline buttons are now enabled.
My son got into the business school last night! His application went under review on 08/29. Very excited
Thank you! I woke up this morning and the message disappeared and I can click the buttons now.
Does anyone know if Swanson admits via major or just general?
General. Engineering students pick their major by spring of freshman year. This is a great opportunity for them to understand all
the different options(presented to them via their freshman engineering seminar)
Hi,
I just wanted to post for those who submitted back in August and still havenât heard. My D25 submitted August 21, I called and was told probably mid October. Her application is under review. We are in the Philly, Montco area. I do think region could also play a part.
i was told similarly it could be a âfew weeksâ and outs went in on the 16th, from Bucks County. Who knows?
But as said before, no answer is better than a rejection at this point.
Hi,
My S25 just heard last night he was accepted into Swanson school of Engineering for Computer Engineering. Our daughter is a sophmore at Pitt and loves it but just wanted everyone to know that this year is taking longer than the year our daughter applied. He applied on August 1st and went under review on August 7th, making it over 7 weeks until he heard. I also believe they are quicker with Dietrich since it obviously it makes up more than half of the class.
Stats: In-State- 4.2 weighted, 3.8 unweighted, 4 APS, interns in the tech dept., test optional, involved in tennis and works a job during the school year, etc.
I agree. Has anyone from New York (except Long Island) heard?
My S25 heard back last Friday. NYC, applied to Dietrich for poli sci. Stats: 3.5 uw/3.9w, 6 APs, TO, lots of leadership roles and high profile ECs.
Thanks and congrats! Good to know that NY is moving. What was her submission date?
Oops, sorry. Submitted 8/2. Went under review 8/6.
