Sounds like they review in batches then and each batch takes about 4 weeks? So if you’ve been under review since week 1 of August and don’t get this batch you could be in the 8-10 week cycle. Am I reading this correctly?

I think it is still a 6-8 week cycle. It sounded like you’d hear back before 4 weeks and we are at 5 weeks now? Definitely within the realm of possibility that all first week of August applicants head back in slightly less than the 4 week and stay within the 6-8 week range? Not feeling as hopeful about this week anymore though :pensive_face:

I think the soonest we’ll hear something is probably mid week next week because last year a lot of people heard around six weeks I think.

I would think one release a week at least, but doesn’t look that way so far.

Is there a certain time of day they usually come out?

Last year it looks like the first batches came out around 7:30pm on a Monday.

The handful from Reddit that have already been accepted this year happened two weeks ago on Wednesday and Thursday night around 7pm.

Is it weird that there’s a 2 week lag? If they were accepting students two weeks ago, why the pause?

It was Dietrich and Swanson. Have not read of any Nursing acceptances yet. Just do a search for “When did you all get decisions back from admissions” Pitt Reddit.

It was started about a month ago, I don’t know what the rules are here about linking to another forum. If it’s allowed I can put a link.

The way I did it was go to r/Pitt on Reddit, then scroll down until you see a thread that has an “APPLYING” tag (in yellow). If you click on the tag, it will bring up all the other r/Pitt threads with that tag.

Just chatted online with an Admissions rep. Her exact words: “We have just ramped up and are sending decisions daily starting this week. Watch for emails at the end of each day.”
