Can anyone else not log into the Pitt applicant portal today? It says the site cannot be reached when my son tries to login.

It depends on which portal you check - one says pending and other says awaiting decision.

Same. I wonder if there will be news tonight. I’ve heard Pitt notifies at the end of the week a lot, but it looks like last year a lot of August applicants were notified on 9/23, which was a Monday.

I just messaged the main cathy bot on the pitt website, which directed me to an admissions counselor. They said that if you applied in early august, you have the possibility of recieving a decision sometime next week, but if you dont, you would have to wait 4 weeks max since their admissions committee just recently started to review applications. Hope this helps!
