My daughter just received her acceptance this evening! It was sent at 7:24 pm. She applied to Dietrich with a 4.3, 31 ACT. She applied through the Pitt App on August 1st. I hope this info. helps future students. Best of luck to everyone!

A handful in my high school got admitted to Dietrich last night. Some test optional some not. Iām getting nervous this is a bad sign for me.
I donāt think itās necessarily a bad sign. Did you all apply the same day?
DC heard back from Dietrich last night. 8/1 application. Email to check portal came @7:30pm and portal was updated with acceptance letter

Yes we all applied 8/1. Application went under review 8/5.

If you have time, scroll through the posts from last year. There were quite a few who didnāt hear for a while. We were one of them- everyone around us kept hearing back and we didnāt for 12 weeks. The wait is super hard but I would not freak out yet! Hope this helps! Sending positive vibes your way!!

Do you know if any of them applied through the Pitt website? From what I am seeing, a lot of them are getting accepted earlier compared to those who applied via Common App
We all applied on Aug 1 using the Pitt App directly.
Got into Pitt Business School on Friday and applied using the Common App on July 31/August 1. Applied with a 1430 SAT (730 Math and 700 English) and had a 3.7 W gpa and a 3.5 UW gpa.

My daughter submitted common app 6 days ago and still havenāt received a link for portal. She thought she was supposed to create her own account so created an account on pitt.mycollegeapplication. Is this correct or should she have received a link for something else.
Did she link her common app to STARS and fill in her grades? After the application is completed, Pitt should email her a link to set up her portal account. They provide the access.
yes she did link the common app to STARS on 9/11 and it shows that STARS has been submitted to Pitt but no email link yet
Your daughter can email or call on Monday. Is she able to see her application status? If yes, than maybe it doesnāt matter.
