Happy to say that my daughter finally applied to Pitt today, at least six weeks after we planned. I am sure that we will be waiting a long time to hear back, but I’m just relieved it’s done!

Applied to the School of Public Health on 8/14 (in state)
Stats: 1490 SAT, 14 APS, 2 Dual Enrollemnt Classes, 4.0 unweighted & 4.62 weighted.

What is the typical time it takes for Pitt to download the application submitted on Common App and send the portal email? Kid submitted the app on Thursday night, it is yet to be downloaded.
it took 6 days which felt like a long time. She did call admissions but they just told her it can take up to a week

Besides the one post above, has anyone else heard back for engineering? Seeing a lot posts about other schools (Deitrich, Nursing, etc) get decisions back but not hearing much about Engineering.

Accepted Today!!! oos student, 3.719 weighted gpa, pittsburgh campus, lots of healthcare ecs and killer essay. Dont let anyone tell you that you cant do it! Dreams do come true even for low stats individuals. Intended major in Biology.

Congrats! When did you apply?
My son found out he got in last night! In state, arts & sciences; applied 8/1. 3.75 weighted gpa, 4 honors classes, 2 college in high school courses. Has held a job for the past year while in school, some volunteer work, a few clubs, community baseball team, 2 years on school baseball team (not currently on it) He did not submit any test scores. I hope this helps to those who are still waiting, fingers crossed for you!
