D26 was accepted in Swanson School of Engineering last night. OOS. Applied through Pitts app on 8/9, all material received on 8/14, accepted 9/29. She has pretty solid stat similar to what’s reported here so far. No sport EC though, but music.

D26 OOS admitted for finance 9/29 (just saw last night). Submitted 9/6 through the Pitt portal. 34 ACT, 9APs, 97 GPA.

Don’t lose hope! If you scroll up to Monday night, you’ll see I posted that my son was accepted after applying on 8/1 so a little over 8 weeks. Good luck!

Child accepted engineering. Applied 9/18 everything downloaded 9/19 in state common app so a little under 2 weeks turn around, very impressed. Test optional 4.2 W gpa. They must be picking up the pace on review. Thanks to everyone for sharing their results, it was super helpful. Hope everyone else gets their results soon.

Congrats! We applied a month prior than yours and nothing yet. Stats - 1550 SAT, 14 APs, 3.97 UW. Ugh - this wait :sob:

Have you applied to or are you planning to apply to other schools? Pitt generally offers a branch campus to those applicants who have good stats but don’t meet the criteria for admission to a particular major at the main Pitt campus. If you have other acceptances to schools you’d prefer, you can go to one of them. If not, you have at least one acceptance to a nursing program.

Sounds like your child is a shoe in! My child didn’t apply to the honors college so maybe that assisted with the quick decision? I would bet you hear this week.

My daughter was accepted tonight. She applied test optional, Dietrich for political science. 4.2 gpa, 6 ap classes, class president, 4 year varsity athlete, 2 year captain, from nj.
