University of Pittsburgh Class of 2030 Official Thread

The text in the left side menu that says “Accept/Decline” is just the label for the menu item. When a student is admitted, I expect that accept/decline buttons will appear on the right side, where it currently says “No information at this time.”

Also, my son’s application was completed on 7 August, and it now says pending.

Do we think pending has any meaning?

Are you all in the portal where you originally applied (through the Pitt application) or is this the one where the student had to make a separate account for using credentials that were emailed after applying?

Pending is simply the status that the application has while it is being evaluated. Everyone can expect to see this while their application is in this phase.

What I did was log in to the official Pitt applicant portal (https://my.pitt.edu/task/all/pitt-applicant-portal), then come back to this thread to click on the link posted by @Intel26 but you can probably just click on the link and log in directly that way, too.

What day was your application complete?

My kid says that even though the application required materials is saying complete, it’s not really complete because the counselor needs to send stuff. Is that correct? How to check if all the “background” stuff from high school has been completed?
