Bummer, wonder if Presidential scholarship info will still be released this week.
I hate to disappoint but presidential scholarship was included in the acceptance letter, maybe there will be more to come.

Yes I saw that some were already notified. Someone said in the past they were still notified after, so was just hoping!

Was there a digital acceptance letter or welcome to the school email, or did you already receive a hard copy in the mail? My son showed us that teaser of the disappearing acceptance in the portal and claims that is all heās received since Friday.
There is an official acceptance letter in the portal. It is still there and dated Jan 26.
Okay thenā¦guess we should get him a tutor to help navigate the portalā¦

Congrats on the scholarship consideration, thatās awesome. I took another look at the portal and realized I am the one who needs a tutorial on how to find things online. The admissions letter was there, I actually read it and completely forgot about itā¦ I will never hear the end of it from S24ā¦His letter does not mention a scholarship so we will be moving on from URā¦sad, he really liked the PPE program.

The website had stated the notification date (EA 1/26) so didnāt need an email. However, I just looked and an email was sent to my child on 1/22 stating a decision would be on the portal on 1/26.

My son was offered a presidential in February, 2 years ago. My understanding is that he was basically on the āBā list. As some scholarship-eligible students opted for other schools, some Presidential scholarships were freed up and he was offered one. I have no idea whether a student can be both a Presidential and a Richmond scholar. He was thrilled to receive the offer.

My recollection is that he received a very nice package in the mail.
All Richmond Scholars finalists automatically get the Presidential Scholarship but they are not combined. How does your son like Richmond?

It came in the portal with the EA acceptance for us.

As it turned out, my son decided that he wanted to pursue Chemical Engineering, rather than Chemistry, so he declined Richmond (which does not have an engineering school) and is attending the University of Notre Dame. One of his best friends from high school is at Richmond, and is loving it!
