They’ve been there, it’s not new.
No news from Richmond on an early release… so are we thinking still 1/25? My senior is counting the days!
I think it’s the 26th? Thats what the portal says. Does mine say different?
Their website shows 1/25, but the posts above got my kid’s hopes up.
Ok my daughters portal says 1/26. Is it for sure not tonight?
When my son submitted his EA application, in late September or early October, the portal said “around January 20.” Some time in December, that changed to “by January 26.” I would be surprised if after moving the date later, they moved it back up again.
Thanks! My daughter doesn’t let me into her portals!
The last two years it has been the third Friday in Jan. - too bad they changed it. I hope they stay true to the email notifying us we will get decision in a couple of days.
What day do we think it will be out this week?
It’s been a Friday the last 2 years (20th, 21st). I’m hoping we don’t have to wait till 26th and it comes out earlier this week!
Does Richmond announce any scholarships with admission? I saw that Richmond scholars finalists are announced “be February 1st”, but if they’re announcing admission on the 26th, I wonder why they don’t just announce the finalists with admission?
Anyone know what time they typically release decisions?
Last year it was 7PM ET
Does anyone know if theres a video that pops up of you get in or is it a letter? I heard someone it’s a video but I may be wrong.
When I was admitted ED, it was confetti and a congratulations letter. Not much warning but there is the option to view the letter.
I got an email yesterday from Richmond saying “ We’re preparing to release Early Action admission decisions on Friday around 7 PM EST. Please double check that you can access your Spider Portal and be in touch if you need assistance.” So I’m guessing it actually will be Friday at 7 EST
Just here to say…feeling really nervous for my daughter for Friday
I totally understand; however, the decisions have likely already been made - “the pens have been lifted, and the pages have dried” But we can hope for the best, of course. They really do land where they are supposed to if that makes you feel any better - this is my third year in a row doing this, and although we have had disappointments, we were ultimately thrilled where they ended. However, unfortunately, at least for me, the nerves do not go away through it all and most people will not have a clear answer until April.
Same, for my son. Hoping for the best for us all. Good luck.
