University of Richmond Early Action / Early Decision for Fall 2024 Admission

“Your application is being considered for Richmond scholars program” has disappeared from my daughter’s portal.

Still there for us.

Still there for us as well. (But it says “will be considered” rather than “is being considered.”)

Yeah that’s what it used to say. Just didn’t remember the exact wording since it’s gone now.

Mine says this too still

Where did it say that?

It used to say it on the portal, right below the dates and stuff and below the preliminary review confirmation

Disappeared from my portal too

Still there for me, maybe has something to do w? Accepted or deferred? If its still there could mean defer?

Do applicants learn about their Richmond Scholars status when they receive their admissions decision? Or do they receive an answer at a later date?

My DD’s portal still says will be considered for Richmond Scholars.

It’s weird that it would disappear for some people.

Maybe. It is still there for me, “Your application will be considered for the Richmond Scholars program.”

Students who are selected to advance to the finalist round will be notified of their status in the Spider Portal by February 1; those students whose applications do not advance to the finalist round will not be notified. An announcement will be posted on https://scholars.richmond.edu once all finalist notifications have been sent.

anyone who’s richmond scholars thing has been removed can they send a screenshot or something, it sounds odd with so many people saying not removed compared to removed.

Mine didn’t disappear. I don’t know why it’s different. Maybe something in system glitched?

Maybe! However, I applied RD (by the scholars deadline though). I’m 100% sure it was there before though. I wouldn’t look too into tbh, maybe they’re just trying to take stuff down so the website doesn’t crash tmr.

If it’s still on your portal…. Does that most likely mea def over accepted?

I was thinking the opposite… it might not mean anything and/or might not be standardized though. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow!
