Was this only for international students? Mine still just says “will be considered….” For the third check mark but haven’t had any email or change yet
Same—I’m trying not to think too much about it since admissions decisions come out tomorrow and scholar decisions not long after anyway
Nah it didn’t mention his admittance at all. Just an invite
Does anyone know what time the decisions are expected to post?
7 pm EST
When my son applied two years ago, that message disappeared. He was not invited to be a Richmond Scholar, but was offered a presidential scholarship. I add that to this conversation just to provide everyone with hope. Now, I am waiting to hear about my daughter’s application.!
That’s great! Did your daughter’s message this year disappear as well? Or no?
My daughter’s message is still there. Her profile is at least as strong as his. There’s just no predicting what might happen, but I am hoping for the best!
Also, he was not offered the scholarship until February.
Where is this message about the Richmond scholar? We applied RD and haven’t looked at the portal since decisions weren’t out.
The message about being considered is on the Spider Portal. I think the application had to be submitted by Dec. 1 in order for the student to be considered.
Accepted! 4.0 UW, 36 ACT, average-good extracurriculars. No info on scholarships
Son also accepted, no info. on scholarships either.
Defer, international student
Accepted EA! 4.0 UW, rigorous curriculum, test optional.
If I didn’t see scholarship info, did I not get any or do they release that later? I know the big ones are later, but idk if there are any smaller ones with admission like Tulane does
I got finalist for Richmond scholars!!! My RD decision just came out early ig! Is the disappearing thing true then
Daughter was deferred. Oos student. 4.0 uw, 33 act. Extracurriculars - dance and Girl Scouts. She is sad. Her research says less than 5% chance if deferred. Do you think that is true?
Deferred. And yet, the portal still says “Your application will be considered for the Richmond Scholars program.” Hahaha, pretty sure not.
Was the Richmond Scholars finalist notification in the letter?
