Stats? Congrats!!!

Same as my daughter. She was deferred. UW GPA 3.978. W GPA 4.544. 8 APs, 4s and 5, test optional, Gold Award Girl Scouts, Presidential Volunteer Gold Award. 11 years dance, 4 year varsity Song team, captain. President of her APISA (Asian) club. Asian to boot (considering Richmond’s 6% Asian student population). I am a bit surprised. But on to better schools for both our girls!

I GOT ACCEPTED!!! Cannot contain my excitement! Been so giddy the past 40 minutes :heart:. I don’t know about everyone else but I freaked OUT when I saw the congratulations pop up immediately! I didn’t even click anything and BOOM! Congrats to everyone else and sending love to those of you deferred & denied.:clap:

Thank you!!! Nice to see you here hahaha

Congrats to you! My daughter was accepted also!

Thank you!! Congratulations to her. Does it rank top or near the top on her list?

If I got presidential scholarship, would they let me know about Richmond scholar or is it a probable no?

It looks like Richmond Scholars letters went out with acceptance this year.

My kiddo was accepted, 4.0UW, 1560 SAT, all 5’s on his APs, legacy, decent ECs and awards. Zero dollars in aid. Boo.

Yay!!! Congrats to your son! Fingers crossed for both of us

My daughter was accepted with the presidential scholarship. She was excited but we can’t afford it with only this scholarship and we won’t get financial aid. Does anyone know if there is a potential for more merit aid later? Or should we move forward with better offers at other schools?

As COA being 81300, I would not even consider Richmond with out a merit aid of 50K for a student with such high stats…
