Any idea the date and time for the decision release for ED 1 Richmond?
Someone private messaged me that they got an email from the school confirming ED1 is Friday, 12/13 at 7pm.

I think it usually comes in the acceptance letter.
We got his financial aid letter with a significant grant, but no mention of scholarships.

My daughter got in too. I know chances of marrait is slim but anyone knows if it might come later?

The student profile from last year says 1 in 11 receive some type of merit
When my S24 got accepted (in RD after deferral) his Presidential Scholarship was mentioned in the admittance letter, not sure about ED though. Good luck all!

When your son got accepted in RD, was that a deferral after ED? My D got deferred yesterday, and we wonder if there’s still some hope of acceptance.
Yes, he was deferred ED1. We needed lots of fin aid so that might have contributed (we are international, so school’s need-aware for us) but, aside from him, there are certainly quite a few other people on campus who were deferred ED and later accepted. There’s definetely hope left, though obviously you need to have a good plan B too. Good luck!

I have a student at Richmond and she knows people who were deferred and later accepted! It is pretty common from what she understands. It might help to write a letter of continued interest? I’m not sure how that works, but I know people who have done that for other schools with success. Good luck with everything!

Thank you, we’re hoping that happens here! We’re waiting for the end of the semester for mid year grades to post, so she can write a LOCI with an update. Fingers crossed! Congrats to all who got accepted.

The university website states early action decisions approximately on jan 24th. Not sure whats approximate about it? Maybe not everyone gets notified?
