If my expected family contribution is $200,000 does it make sense that I wouldn’t receive any aid?
Probably, though you might be eligible for a loan or work study. If you have a sibling also attending college you may be eligible.
My financial aid package isn’t nearly enough. Does anyone know if Rochester is flexible if you appeal your financial aid package? I really want to go to Rochester but there is no way it’s possible with the amount of money I received.
We appealed our FA two years ago. They gave us an additional $1500 in merit and took away $1000 in FA. The following year they reduced our FA by $20k, though we did have a bonus that increased our income (but was NOT apples to apples)!
