Hey gangā¦ understand South Carolina Honors College to advise decisions on Feb 14 2023 for the entering Fall 2023 classā¦
Does anyone know what time of day they will be released??
Will be traveling and want to know when to checkinā¦

Son, EA, OOS, $86K, 1390SAT, #1 in class ā¦ awaiting USC HC notification which seems will come out on Feb 14thā¦ but I see that some in-state and/or top scholars might already have been notified of USC HC at time of EAā¦ its mostly an ego thing b/c EA into top five engineering schools like GT and may go thereā¦ but the HC are tempting b/c they shepherd those kids through their four yearsā¦ time will tell. If any readers have insights do adviseā¦ will check back this weekend!

The 12/22/22 wave came out at a little after 5pm
We are in state, daughter was accepted EA in November and to the honors college in December. Acceptance in November said she would get merit and would find out amount in March. Yesterday we got an email that her US Citizenship status had been verified and today got an email that her SC residency has been verified for in state tuition. Could it be that merit is coming soon? I canāt remember if it said ābyā March in her EA acceptance.

Would the first round of regular decisions come out with honors decisions?
My OOS daughter did not apply to the honors college, did not have any merit offer mentioned in her admission letter, and she just received the email about her US citizenship being verified. I donāt think that verification has anything to do with merit.

My daughter received her Honors acceptance in Dec. came out basically the same time the regular acceptance did around 5pm. OOS 1480 SAT #1 in her class
Does everyone get an email about accessing financial aid information? My DD is OOS regular decision and just received an email last night.
Kid got one about āunsatisfied requirementsā and have to log in to Self Service, which he hasnāt set up yet ā¦ becauseā¦ he still has to see about offers and heās not committing until he does but apparently he canāt see fin aid until he does. What the heck???

Oh right, that jogged my memory. Thatās the one where we get an error message - āNo record found based on the entered values.ā - and he wrote to ask what was up with that and never got a response.

Not sure if my daughter got it but we did get a verification form to fill out from financial aid last week. Shes also regular decision (who applied early September!!!)
My daughter applied RD also and received the emails and verification form and I know others that received it as well even though not admitted yet.
I donāt think mine received any emails to set up a VIP ID though so itās possible she gets deferred or waitlisted during the RD round.

My daughter got that email today too. She was accepted EA in Nov and HC in Dec. She hasnāt logged in to self service before either. I noticed it said in the email to email them and let them know if you donāt plan to attend USC. Well my daughter isnāt sure yet because waiting to see the financial aid first! I saw others mentioning something about a VIP ID. Is that whatās needed to log in to self service?
