Our original one is back to “awaiting decision” with no id’s listed below and the back door one just says “submitted” if you scroll down it lists the VIP and USC id’s.
I think someone in the admissions office is playing games! My son told me to step away from the conspiracy theory’s 
I just wish they would tell us one way or the other!

I wonder why some can still get in the back door and others can’t
Think we just got to put these conspiracy theories to rest about who’s backdoor portal, that you weren’t even supposed to be able to access says.
Just checked original portal, it now reads awaiting decisionsubmitted… all one word
They must really enjoy doing something different every day.

mine still says awaiting decision…
Ours says that as well as of this morning.
Our Application status is Awaiting DecisionSubmitted.
The original portal for us says “Submitted” and the back door portal shows “Awaiting Decision” but the ID and VIP IDs are gone. Who knows at this point
Maybe the Awaiting DecisionSubmitted is good? From EA round, the SubmittedSubmitted was an acceptance. The one Submitted, was a deferral. Just wondering if that is the same with this round. We had only one submitted, and was deferred.
All of this probably means absolutely nothing -they all seem to be changing randomly and on random days - haha. We are just making ourselves crazy!
Let’s just wait for the decision. You are only gonna drive yourselves crazy. None of this means anything.

So someone here posted a link to a podcast yesterday which was a TCU admission provost discussing the deferral process. It was an interesting discussion but he mentioned some years TCU is relatively speaking on the high side of accepting deferrals with a rate of 25-30%. That was not encouraging lol and led me to wonder if anyone has any historical insight at USC and their deferral acceptance rate. I know they do not publish it so probably just speculation and heresay but am curious as to expectation. Trying to keep everyone in my domain grounded.
Previously it had changed from AWAITING DECISION to SUBMITTEDAWAITING DECISION back to AWAITING DECISION and now to AWAITING DECISIONSUBMITTED. I think they are just playing with us now.

The constant changes are odd! Ours currently says awaitingdecisionsubmitted. Backdoor approach kicks us back to main page.
I was told last year 38% of deferred were accepted. Trying to temper expectations here. We are heading to an admitted student day at another university today/tomorrow which I hope she will love! Its a school we haven’t visited yet.
