Same with my daughter, accepted for 2nd major. But I think since she had to accept it first, she was not officially offered acceptance until then, probably why we didn’t see the extra tabs. Her official offer will come in 2-3 business days after submitting the acceptance form.

Same WL/Verto offer. I looked it up and there are 5 common study abroad locations (Seville, Florence, London). I know someone who did something similar as a pathway to UTK last year. It seemed to work out okay for them.
Darla Moore and Nursing are specifically excluded from the Verto pathway.

OOS admitted 1st choice major after EA deferral. I could never figure out the VIP login to see the tabs! The WL will move-SC screwed up by deferring too many high stat kids who have moved on.

Oh, that’s interesting. My daughter’s letter doesn’t say that. Looks like a full acceptance with confetti and all.
We got the congratulations confetti too. But said her official offer and welcome package will arrive after she accepted for 2nd major. That’s the only thing I could think of since we didn’t see the tabs . But I could be wrong. Congratulations to your daughter!
This is exactly my son. Had he been offered admissions EA (4.2 USC gpa/35 ACT/NM Commended/150 volunteer hours etc) we would have gone to visit and kept it in the consideration set. However, he’s already mentally committed to Virginia Tech and going to Open House there this weekend.

We were waitlisted and offered guaranteed admittance pathway through this Verto semester abroad program for the fall. I don’t think we’d entertain the abroad program but makes me think we might have been close and she has a minor shot at the waitlist.

Someone can correct me if im wrong. I’m pretty sure everyone receives the invitation to study abroad that was WL. Again someone can correct me. But I haven’t seen someone say they didn’t get this invitation.
Not sure but it says “invite only” in the letter so makes it seem like not everyone got it but I have no clue
I think there may have been more from WL in 2024?
Does anyone know if they still offer merit if you were accepted now, but deferred in EA? Thanks!
Seems if not in our letters the merit will be released mid-March. Some are betting on next Friday the 7th.
