Would it be worth the out of state tuition though? I got a merit scholarship from UofSC which reduced the tuition per year by around 10k, however that is still double compared to in state tuition (Instate: around 25k, UofSc: around 40k.) I plan to a get masters in the future if that makes a difference.

Go in-state for undergrad. NC State is a great school and the business program is on par with USC. Save your money. You can then be more selective for your Masters. I donā€™t think there is enough of a difference to justify the extra expense IMHO.
