I am not noticing any - anything specific mentioned?
I am honestly unsure. I think they updated the portal since last year. There was mention of advisor name being changed to smokey dog or something. Which we no longer have an advisor name attached to our portal at all. We did during early action before deferred. Also something about the background having a celebration look to it.
Also whether different events (admitted student day for example) showed up under events and anything under âjust for youâ. I did a scroll through last year around this time and from what I could gather there wasnât a clear correlation between portal changes and outcomes.
Ok, we have a blank where it says your status: I am uncertain of when that changed but at one point there was some wording there. And under events we have Big Orange Preview. I think this has always been there though.
Also, whether anything under the âjust for youâ section? Again, it seems like ended up not being a positive or negative tell.
Last year it looks like people were registering for new vol admit day or the admitted students tour and they were able to register and got an email back welcoming them to their major and thatâs how they knew they were in bf decisions were out. Has anyone tried that this year?

I have not but this is a great idea! I just googled and found the new admit day but looks like you need a school email to log in.
Just noticed in the âJust for Youâ tab, we have a link to Apply to the UT Success academy. It says, âOriginally designed to maximize Black and Hispanic menâs transition to college, the UT Success Academy enhances the undergraduate experience by creating and supporting access and engagement opportunities for students through a four-year cohort experience focused on empowering students to discover, connect, and lead through their strengths. All first-year admitted students to the University of Tennessee can apply to join the program.â
Thatâs been showing up for some time for my sonâs.

Yeah I just noticed the Apply button on that page doesnât work either.

Our counselor info also returned where that information had been gone as well.

Yes. We now have âAwaiting Decisionâ next to status and our counselor information is there and I donât think it has been before or at least for a long time.
I also noticed that if you go to âEventsâ and just scroll down to where Big Orange Events, Campus Tours, and Self Guided Tours are, there is now only a blue register now button for Self Guided Tours. If you go back to the top of that page and click on âUpcoming Eventsâ right below where your status is it brings you to New Vol Admitted, Transfer Student, New Vol Admit, and Big Orange. They all have registration buttons but when clicking they just bring you back to main page. Anyone else actually able to register? I know last year they could but they probably caught on and fixed that glitch.
It is back this morning - my daughter looked last night and it was still blank. Any word yet on decision release time? I have not seen anything posted in IG or FB. Best of luck to all!!
Tried. Same result as you.
The rumor is that theyâll release after the school closes so that they donât have to answer the influx of calls coming in once people receive their status. 
I think I heard EA wasnât released until 6 or 7.
I went back and looked - EA decisions were released at 7
