All the merit scholarship SAT scores on the website start at 1300. While it may be too late for admission purposes, my understanding is that you can submit for scholarship purposes before you commit (I believe I saw that in an admissions video on YouTube), so definitely contact a counselor if you get in.

no youre totally fine! yes, they have a certain amount of classes that they look for. for example, they want 2 foreign language credits. So, if you took 3 credits, theyāll take the 2 best grades. thats why my core gpa is higher than my weighted.

and the best part is- thats the gpa they look at. however, that also means that their expectations and median gpa acceptances are higher. last year, their middle 50% was around a 3.61-4.31 gpa.
Iād keep an eye out for something in 10 minutes based on past years activity

Last year we did, within the hour at least.
Okay, what is going on? Did admissions say when they are releasing the information?
Admissions has not said anything yet, but we can expect today or tomorrow.

Why canāt they all just be like uga and say Friday at 4. Then have it be Friday at 4. W/o all the nonsense and mistakes. Looks like it is not Tuesday at 4 for UTK

It was 7 pm eastern time last year. So we probably have three more hours to wait.
Wonderful. Funny thing is my D hasnāt checked a portal once. She is so laid back and just ok with everything. Girlās only gotten one B in her lifeā¦in religion. So her thought is sheās done everything she can and what will be will be. Must take after her father

My daughter saw the celebratory background this morning and the ID username for the UTK portal. Since she was admitted to Alabama and there was a similar portal, it made her think to look up UTKs student portal. Then she added the user name from her admission portal and selected āforgot passwordā. She reset the password and got access to her UT portal which said she was admitted with her major. haha. It had all of her information in it, so I am guessing it was legit. Shortly afterward, everything changed back. We are SUPER hopeful with this, but it still doesnāt feel for sure. She is wanting to tell everyone, but I said we really need to wait until itās official.
