Started in Mid December last year, some got deferred though

The UVM website indicates that Early Decision (not early action) admissions notifications come out on Dec. 1. Anyone know if this is the case?

The should announce it on their Instagram page, last year they were pretty good at communicating through that

I haven’t heard of any EA applicants being notified yet, and we have not either. Hopefully soon!

I looked this up when I was “relaxing” a week ago. Here’s what they said in the thread for Fall 2023 (but they were talking about previous years)

For Early Action 2021, UVM announced (via Twitter) on 12/14 that decisions would be released on 12/16 at 5PM ET (which they were)
 don’t know whether EA and ED will be released together since this is the first year of ED. But the pattern seems to be the 2nd or 3rd Thursday in December since 2018.

Looks like it is 12/12 at 3:30pm according to the college counselors

The college counselors at my kids school said they got a letter saying the UVM EA decision would be out at 3:30 on Tuesday. I see it is on the calendar here as well.

My daughter got in to her ED–Middlebury! So, she’s since withdrawn her UVM app but good luck to all on Tuesday! It seems like a terrific school.

It now has been taken off of the CC calendar. Still hoping it is released this afternoon. This is the first school my D24 will hear from
