I don’t see it there, but I never saw it there to begin with. Will be a bummer if they changed their minds about releasing today, but not unheard of.
I think you were their confirmation. Just checked the C/C calendar thread and they referenced the email your college counselors got as for why they originally put it on. They took it off today because there is no evidence anywhere else of it coming out this afternoon. Bummer.
Has anyone tried calling the admissions office to see if they would share an update? Just found a thread on reddit from a student who was told EA would be released on 12/21 when they went on a campus visit.
Ok sorry to all !!
Guys, I called admissions. They said “not today”. They said “late December”.
Oh man. We were so excited for today!
Same here! Hoping to hear soon!
Thanks for calling to confirm! This is a stressful time for these kids (and parents) Getting misinformation like that is a bummer, but a good learning experience I suppose!
Sorry to everyone I feel so bad for getting everyone’s hopes up!
my son’s guidance counselor just forwarded this to me:
Greetings from the University of Vermont! As this time of year is filled with a lot of anticipation for you and your students, we wanted to share that we will be releasing decisions for our EA applicants on Tuesday, December 19 at 7:00 p.m. ET .
Applicants will receive an email prompting them to login to their application status page, where they will find their decision letter and scholarship award, if applicable.
Looks like we have another week to wait!
Don’t feel badly! It’s a giant guessing game and a counselor’s advice seems a reliable source.
Does anybody know if it is a positive sign if you have been assigned a Student ID “95” number on the portal - even though it still says Awaiting Decision?.. There also seems to be a place where they are verifying the mailing address. Was that always there?
We see the student ID too. Not sure about that, but I know that the mailing address section was always there.
Everyone has an id number. the students got it when they sent the portal email. All the verification stuff was there as well, I believe. I don’t think there are any tricks here like PSU. I think they are like other normal site where everyone suddenly has a button
UVM has posted its early decision date via email to applicants: " We will begin posting our Early Action decisions on Tuesday, December 19 at 7:00 p.m. ET . Decisions will be available for students who submitted an application and supporting materials on time."
