University of Victoria Questions

I’m currently on track to graduate with honors from the University of California San Diego. My plan after graduation is to spend a couple years in either Taiwan or China teaching English and saving up money to go back to school for my teaching credentials. I have Canadian citizenship by birth even though I’ve spent my whole life in the states. So basically I have two questions.

1) Is it going to be harder to get admitted to UVic since I’m coming from a US university after taking two years off to teach?

and

2) Would I pay tuition as an international student since I would be moving back from Asia or would I pay the cheaper tuition because of my Canadian citizenship?

So you mean UVic for grad study right?

1) I doubt it. You are a Canadian citizen which makes you eligible to work/receive funding, and UCSD is a great school.

2) No. You are a citizen so would pay domestic tuition rates.

1) No - it won’t be harder for you to get admitted to UVic.
2) If you are a Canadian citizen you’ll pay domestic rates :)
