I didn’t create an account but seems like once you create you can register.
Vermont was his number 1 so that’s been a huge disappointment. NC State is his last choice as he really wants to be near snow. We are from Seattle but moved here 6 years ago. He got into Colorado and Michigan so he has options. But UW feels like home.
Not looking like tonight!
Could anyone give me some generalized pros and cons of UW right now? It’s not really towards the top of my list at this point, UC Davis and Cal Poly SLO are in my top 3, and I already got into them, but I want to make some lists and comparisons. My major is psychology btw. Thanks if you can help!
Are you in-state?
Hope today is the day
I heard that MIT day is tmrw so many people have their bets on today or friday. Im still placing bets on thursday tho it makes the most sense
Is UW really going to wait until the last day to release decisions? This is the latest it has come out in the past couple years.
do you know how far in advance you could see that stuff? That definitely worked when I applied to UVM but so far I don’t see any of that here.
what has MIT results got to do with UW results?
Or for that matter, UCSD and UCLA … all releasing on 3/15.
where does it say UCSD and UCLA releasing friday ? I missed it
i heard that uw might not release today bc colleges dont want to overlap but thats also just what im hearing. I hope it is infact tmrw
LOL then why do all ivies and UCB release together?!!
It worked for us with UVM as well
that is true. its just the word going around at my school but its prob not correct
Like UW, they did not announce official release date, but the UCSD and UCLA forum here firmly believe they are releasing this Friday, 3:30PST for UCSD and 5:00PST for UCLA. We’ll see how accurate that prediction is very soon.
yes, i live in washington state but i’ve been seriously considering going to california depending on the financial aid i’m able to get.
California is pretty much bankrupt, so they won’t be able to give much financial aid to OOS students. And according to this ranking Ranking of U.S. Undergraduate Psychology Programs (socialpsychology.org), unless you get into Berkeley, UCSD, or UCLA, you can’t beat UW’s academics. Even for Berkeley, UCSD, or UCLA, although they are a few points above UW in the ranking, is it really worth the $30,000 per year difference in price tag?
