My child is deferred and received an email yesterday regarding an application for scholarships. Is this a standard email to all deferred students?

I am just confirming, since I am now confusing all of the portal astrology for my different schools, that EVERYONE has a wisc.edu email that they see right? This is not an admitted sign?
Where do you see it? In uw diagnostics? If so, yes.

I hope it’s 03/22…these waits are torturous. I am secretly hoping if it’s not an acceptance that, we get a rejection. I am not sure we can survive another couple of months of waiting.

For those of you who are Wisconsin residents, this shows the percentage of students from your high school who were admitted to Wisconsin-Madison. It also shows application and yield data by Wisconsin high school. High schools are grouped by county (see dropdown).
Yeah, that’s a tough one. S24 got deferred from his ED, and that’s definitely been tortuous. Of course, if he ultimately gets in, it will all have been worth it.
I will pass out if my son gets waitlisted

Just to bring this back to the forefront: last year my deferred son got his admittance the second to last Friday in March (which was March 24th last year, but is TOMORROW this year). It came in an email just before 11 pm CST. (It might’ve been in the portal before that, but he was not checking…) Good luck to us all! ; )

It’s out! Look in notifications in the student center. S24 in state accepted after being deferred!

Same here. S24 accepted after a string of rejects/WL. L&S CS. OOS (North CA). This is now his top school. I am extremely grateful to everyone on these threads for the support and inspiration.

S24 waitlisted after EA deferral. We’re really disappointed. It was his first choice.
