They do send the email notification, but this is typically the day after results are released. This is based on our experience last year with S23.

Does the email indicate if you are accepted? Or does it direct you to the portal.

2021: email telling you to check portal on night of decision. Followed by email next day with actual offer. HOWEVER, my sister actually found out because a HOUSING tile popped un on her page. Only people who got the housing tile got accepted. It was like 1-2 hours before actual decision. I heard they fixed that!

Anyone else have an incorrect date of birth under Applicant Profile/Personal Details? I know this has been mentioned before, but it’s showing 5/28/1977 and refreshing isn’t fixing it.
ETA: Looks like it just updated to the correct date. That was weird.
ETA 2: Now it’s wrong again. LOL.

Yep, several of us have seen the same. It flashes the 1977 date when your log in or refresh before fixing itself. I thought I was seeing things until someone else on the thread mentioned it.
I looked up the date: Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s birthday or Grateful Dead Concert? Someone posted the more likely scenario of the coder’s birthday.

So if you google the birthday and UW Madison a guy comes up that went to Madison that is in CS. I was like hmmmm…

Finally saw this 1977 birthdate! I had to log in 3 times, and then did refresh twice. The second refresh took much longer, then coughed up this wrong birthdate. Yep, definitely a programming bug. I think it was the default setting (05/28/1977, male) when queries to the database failed.

The portal is very slow this morning for me. It keeps timing out and giving me errors. Are you all finding this, too? When I get through, I am not noticing any changes. I’m sure they are working on things in the back end. I say this like I am surprised yet we all know it is coming. Sending good thoughts to everyone in the coming days!
